OMG Systems Modeling Language for Autonomous SystemsUsing engineering tools in researchRicardo Sanz
Place: Aula de Seminarios de Automática The OMG Systems Modeling Language (OMG SysML) is a a general-purpose modeling language for systems engineering applications. SysML supports the specification, analysis, design, verification, and validation of a broad range of complex systems. These systems may include hardware, software, information, processes, personnel, and facilities. The origins of SysML can be traced back to the work of the International Council on Systems Engineering’s (INCOSE) Model Driven Systems Design workgroup. In January 2001 they started a roadmap to customize the Unified Modeling Language (UML) for systems engineering applications. In this speech we will summarily describe the SysML and explain the reasons for its potential importance in the research on Autonomous Systems. Find more about Ricardo Sanz.
